Finally got my beautyinsider birthday gift after work today. Sephora is really doing a good job getting partnership, I love benefit's 'they're real' mascara. Cannot wait to tap into the highlighter too! 

Frosh week parade

Saw this solar lamp at Indigo today, I really wanted to get it, but it's $40, tad too expensive for me... But it's really fun though, you leave it out in the sun during day time, and a solar panel in the jar capture solar energy so that the light bulb in the jar can light up. I really like these cute and creative things... Would make a great present!!! 

Yesterday university of Toronto had their frosh week parade. Really miss my first year at university, it's all so long ago, but honestly it was the best time! Hope everyone enjoys your school year!

New products

I got all hyped up about dark spot treatments today because I saw this commercial yesterday for Bio Oil and was suddenly reminded of my recent acne problems. Before I buy anything, I always like to read reviews first, and the reviews did not turn out too well.... so I learned about Lemons ..... anyhow, read my dark spot and scar treatment blog HERE if you are interested la~

On another note, I got the products I ordered from Well.ca today!! Finally get to try two new products (new to me la~) very excited!!!

I <3 shopping

Went shopping today la! So happy that one of my favours store, banana republic, is having a huge sale, so I bought a few fall/ winter wear and a beautiful pair of knee heigh boots. My wallet took a serious hit. I also bought a new bag from Danier, a tad expensive, but it's too beautiful la~ and its cheaper compare to other brand name bags, but equally good quality and good design. I will take more picture of what I bought tmr la.

Mama burger

So I did finally finish the DIY, along with two other ones~ boy that was a lot of work I put into it! But I am glad it turned out well.

Went to have a&w burger with my bf today. We only go because we like the little fries basket and the legit root beer mug. But here is my question, a&w claims they are the burger family, but I do  not know what to get, because I am not a teen so I cannot get the teen burger, and I cannot get the mama burger.... They should really create a young adult/professional burger, yes, yes! Am I right?

Paint chip labour day project

I have spent a large portion of my holiday doing DIY. I got some paint chips from Home Depot a while ago and finally got around to doing the DIY. I have seen so many paint chip project on Pinterest, and thought it was easy enough to do. It was actually a little more complicated then I thought, so much detail work, but I am determined to finish them. I will update with the finished work tmr.

Sense and sensibility

Saw this beautiful pair of platorm heels at Payless today, and it's only $10!! What a steal. I was rally tempted to buy it because it just looked so good, but I ultimately did not because I really think that comfort is the most important thing when it comes shoes, dame common sense, always cause me to make sensible decisions. But I honestly cannot imagine myself wearing a 5 inch heels.
